Does A Depo Shot Cause Long Periods?

Hi There. I took a dose of Depo after my baby. As I did not want to fall pregnant quickly as the Docs advised that may happen. This ran out on the 24th of April. However my period came on the 7th of June. I am still bleeding medium flow 18 days later! is this normal? Thank you.
