Does A Coccyx Injury Cause Urethral Polyps?

Hi, I m a 65yo male and I had a 2-inch urethal polyp removed 10 months ago. Several months previously I fell into a steel structure and bruised my coccyx badly, though this healed. Could the trauma & bruise be the cause of the urethal polyp? What else could be the cause? Thanks

Hello,

A urethral polyp is an entirely different entity and not related to your previous trauma.

Nothing much to worry as it is a benign (non-cancerous) condition and is easily curable.

Consult a urologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
