Does A Cyst On The Breast Cause Shoulder Pain?

Hello, I have a cyst in my left pectoral muscle behind my nipple. I have also recently developed a weird pain in my shoulder and arm pit on the same side that feels like it radiates from the cyst. There is also a discoloration/bruise looking mark that has appeared in my arm pit. Would all of this be concern enough to get checked? Thank you in advance

Hello,

If there is a cyst and who knows it had burst and the infection has spread to your shoulders. So if I were the treating physician I would have examined you for any tenderness in the areas and if so I would have taken a biopsy and sent to pathology and depending on the reports. I would have put you on antibiotics to control the infection. kindly get it examined.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. ARCHANA
