Does A Delayed Period Mean Pregnancy?

hi, my periods were delayed for 4 days. it was supposed to come on 24th june.i did home pregnancy test on 26th june which turned -ve. today on 28th june i got spotting n scanty red periods. i m confused whether i m pregnant or not. please help me.
