For the past couple of days mainly if I am sitting I get a fluttering sensation under my rib cage, I have no pain just a flutter, I did go a bit light headed this morning, but that could be due to late nights for the past 3 nights Do I need to pay a visit to my GP? Many thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There can be various reasons for fluttering below rib cage as arrhythmia development, anxiety or stress-related or other issues.

* In my clinic, I do recommend deep breathing exercises and YOGA for a period of 4-5 days once the vital parameters are evaluated and later on if required specific measures can be sorted of as 2 D echo or else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
