Does A Finger Cut With Pain Need Further Treatment?

I'm a mechanic I have a small cut not so deep. The cut hurts a little bit not my whole finger or my hands. I'm not sure how long I had the cut before I treated it, could have been an hour or more maybe. I only put rubbing alcohol as soon as I got home I have no bandaids at the moment. Should I be concerned?
