Does A Laceration Deep Enough For Tissue Visibility But Without Bleeding Need Stitches?

Hello, My 12 year old daughter cut her foot last night on a piece of glass. It is deep enough I can see some tissue, but is not bleeding. I have cleaned it with peroxide, put triple antibacterial ointment on and covered it with a band aid. How would I know if she needs stitches?

Hi,
Even there is no bleeding but wound id deep enough then she might require stitches.
With stitches there will be easy healing, less chance of having infection in the wound.
Open wound might take more time to heal.
Consult your doctor and let him decide about her existing wound.
Ok and take care.
