ok ima sound weird asking this but i was on YAZ birth control and couldnt pay for a month and had sex with my boyfriend and a condom broke so when i got the money to pay for yaz the next month i wanted to wait until i had my period to start again but i never did i took one HPT it was neg ive been back on it for about a week and this morning i woke with sharp pains n bleeding kinda normal for a period had cramping all day but earlier when i went to the bathroom blood clots came out huge i mean bigger then a quarter and 3 of them cam out what is it??

I have gone through the query and understood the concern. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed with a fresh early morning sample 3-7 days after the missed period. If you did not do so, you could have missed detecting a pregnancy and this bleeding could be an abortion. The other possibility is a delayed period which can be caused due to a transient hormone disturbance. In the current scenario, clarification can be had only through a clinical examination done by a specialist. If you need pregnancy to be excluded, you can ask for the blood test. Hope this helps.
