Does A Lymph Node On Rib Cage Cause Stabbing Pain While Yawning?

I have a lymph node on my right rib cage. I went to the doctor a few months ago and they said it was just a lymph node. The last couple of days it has been like a stabbing pain when I yawn or sneeze. It is also very uncomfortable when I try to work out. Any clue on what it might be?

Hello,

Since you are having stabbing pain while yawning or sneezing, you are suggested to get physically examined in the ER.

Get clinically assessed, get all the blood workouts done. Get a Biopsy of the lymph gland to rule out any malignancy.

Your treatment will depend upon the severity of pathology detected. It can be treated with either antibiotics / antivirals, analgesics or radiotherapy if its malignant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
