Does A Short Nose Bleed After Hitting The Head Hard Require Medical Care?

Hello, I was at a wedding last night, slipped and hit the back if my head REALLY hard on a tile wall. A few hours after, I had a short nose bleed. I have a headache but that might still be part of the hangover. Should I go to a doctor tonight or can I wait for a couple of days. I just done want to rupture an aneurism or something. Thanks

A nose bleed is a common occurrence following any kind of impact on the head- it is a sort of protective mechanism that prevents too much pressure from building up in the brain...........and if it has stopped after a few minutes, it's good news and nothing to worry about really.
You could apply an ice pack over the injured area and also over the root of your nose; avoid blowing your nose hard and inserting your finger inside to remove crusts or clots.
Of course, if it bleeds again, do visit your doctor- hope that helps!
