Does A Spider Bite Need Immediate Medical Attention?

Hello, I had a brown recluse spider on top of my foot and it appears to be a faint red mark about 1/8 long. I can t tell if I scratched myself or if the spider actually bit me. Should I worry now and rush to the ER? Or, should I wait and see if there is any changes?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Spider bite is almost always nonproblematic.
So no need to worry much or rush to the emergency room (ER).
You can wait at home and observe the wound.
If you find any of these then you should consult doctor.
1. Pain in wound
2. Redness or swelling
3. Itching in the wound.
If these symptoms are not seen in 1 week then no need to worry much.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
