Does A Submucosal Fundal Fibroid In The Uterus Affect Fertility?

hello. I've just been diagnosed with a large posterior submucosal fundal fibroid in my uterus. Maximal dimension 58 mm. I'm due to see a gynaecologist in two weeks, but do you think I will have to get surgery? I'm 34. Is there a chance my fertility will be affected by this?
