Does A Swollen Navel, Tender To Touch, Indicate Hernia Or Something More Serious?

What kind of concerns should I be worried about a swollen navel? It s been approximately 2 months and it is getting tender to the touch. I m close to 6 feet tall and about 235 pounds, careful with my diet concerning processed and fried foods. Is it possible it s just a hernia or a more serious issue?

Hi, I think it is an umbilical hernia. But it can be serious also sometimes. It can become strangulated hernia. So, better to get it evaluated by a surgeon and get it operated. Hope I have answered your query.
