Does A Transition Disorder Suffering Person Blame Others For Their Unhappiness?

My daughters boyfriend was diagnosed with transition disorder after a suicide attempt. Unable to deal with being away at college. Now telling my daughter she was not there for him. Do they often blame others for their unhappiness or inability to deal with change?

yes transition disorder takes some time to cope up. blaming might be both due to circumstances and due to this disorder. better not to actively advise ur daughter, that might strain ut relationship. keep patience and try to build more trust with daughter by giving some time
thank u
