Yes, there is all the possibility of rupture of hymen during transvaginal scan. The size of the probe is rather thicker for the opening in the hymen. However, in this era, there are multiple activities of a girl which ruptures the hymen in spite of being virgin; to enlist few: Cycling, athletics, climbing tree, swimming, sitting astride, etc. So I feel you should not be concerned about rupture of your hymen. Your health is important and should have the priority. Moreover, you or your doctor can always explain your husband regarding the status of the hymen.
The bleeding you had after removal of probe was most likely due to the rupture of hymen.
