Does A Wound On The Finger Knuckle Take Long To Heal?

How long will it take to recover from a palm tree puncture wound? I jabbed one into my 3rd finger knuckle on 5/4/2017, by 5/8 my hand was the size of a grapefruit. When to ER and they put me in the hospital and did surgery. I had 5 different antibiotics going into the IV. Got out on the 11th, Dr. Checked it today and released me. I can t make a fist and the finger is still swollen.

Hello,

It will take at least 2 weeks. Maintain aseptic measure. Continue antibiotic as advised along with take analgesic anti-inflammatory for 1 week. Can take tab Combiflam.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
