Does A Yeast Infection Cause Vaginal Rawness, Soreness With Rashes?

Hi, I had a kidney infection one week ago and I was treated with Cipro. About two days after I finished my antibiotic course I started experiencing symptoms of a yeast infection. I called my doctor and told her my symptoms and she prescribed fluconazole. I noticed some severe rawness that looks like diaper rash and its a little sore. Is this a product of the yeast infection? And what should I do about it?
