Does Abdominal Pain After Surgical Operation Pose Any Danger?

Hi,

This is regarding my wife who is 31 and had to go for a surgical abortion last year in the month of August. Everything was good, however after a few days she started complaining about pain on the left side of her stomach. The pain is not acute but it is annoying. It increases when she walks or does some extra work. Till date the pain is there...kindly help

Hi. Sure, this pain on the left side of the abdomen , which developed within 3 days of abortion needs to be investigated. I would like to suggest to have a per-vaginal examination to know if there is any pain or swelling on palpation. A simple sonography to start with to find out any mass or so. This can be dangerous.
