Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My live in boyfriend has been having pouring noise bleeds for the past few days, it fills the toilet, drips down his throat and into the shower it soaks tissue ect. He has never had this before, however he has has a past history of high blood pressure well lets say he likes to party with his friends. He does drink but not every night. He had a total of three yesterday one of which was during sexual intercourse. He is a Male going on 55 in April. We do no know what to do about this or what can be causing it. It is really starting to worry me its filling the toiltet and taking quit a time to stop, It poured all over my stomach last night which really scared me, He has acid reflux bad and has also blamed chest pain on that, but at times I have known him to have arm pain as well.
The bleeding is likely to be related to the pressure or reflux If from reflux, there will be altered blood in the stool – turning it tarry / Reflux need endoscopy Pressure with pain – needs investigation to exclude heart problem Bleeding may be from the nose – ‘Little’s plexus’ in the septum /Nose specialist should see and packing may be necessary / Bleeding diathesis needs to be looked into…
There are multiple issues / See an Internist / get him examined / investigation will be necessary...
Take care Wishing all well God bless
