Does 'adrenal Hyperplasia' Cause Heavy Menstrual Periods?

My daughter suffered from ineffectively treated high blood pressure and ultimately a grade 4 subaracchnoid hemorhagge - subsequently she has been diagnosed with adrenal hyperplasia and blood pressure is under control. Because she recovered with severe cognitive defects she can't explain to her Dr the severity of her menstrual cycle. I am her 24/7 caregiver and am wondering if this is related to the adrenal hyperplasia.
