Does Ageing Cause Bladder Problems?

i am quadrapligic 57 yrs old, c456 fracture, 43 yrs ago ; 3 yrs ago i started using intermittent catherters, 3 x day now 6x day with more urgency, i saw urologist that had i renal scan which had some changes from 3 yrs ago but the report said it was hard to read, so the urolgist i saw for 5 minutes told me that bladder is older, never looked at my questionaire they wanted me to fill out and did not want urine sample at the appointment, so my question is whether to pursue another opinion or just accept that there is nothing a urologist can do?
