Does Alcohol Increase The Risk Of Paraplegia?

hi: 10 years ago I went through a very bad depression which caused me to drink alcohol heavily for 4 years, also got a herniated disc L5S1, I then became paraplegic having lost sciatic neuromuscular strength. I have 3 herniated discs from trauma and pregnancy. I suspect the alcohol greatly contributed to my paraplegia. Your opinion?
