Does An Allergy To Penicillin Persist For 50 Years?
As an infant, about 59 years ago, I received a penicillin injection and was found allergic to penicillin. My mother said I then broke out in a rash over by body, and my skin got red. Since that time, I have not had penicillin because I thought I was still allergic to is. Question: Does one outgrow an allergy to penicillin after 50 or so years?
