Does An Angioplasty Cause Severe Fatigue?

Is it normal to feel fatigue after the angioplasty? My husband got it done nearly a month back with 3 stents put. He feels tired and low all the time. And also the palms of his hands are getting rough. He has never had acardiac arrest or angina pain. He is 51.

hi madam, angioplasty usually doesnt cause any serious fatigue.fatiguability may be due to some other causes like work load, insufficient dietary intake, micronutrient deficiency etc.some times the patient undergoing the procedure might be fearful and in the opinion of that being a major surgery.in that case also he feels easy fatigue which might be psychological.any ways just rule out all the above causes and ask him to keep his mind calm and happy.regarding roughness of palms, its not the result of angioplasty.just apply any moisturising lotion and also see that he drinks adequate amounts of water.take care.bye.
