Does An Arm Injury With Swelling Need Treatment?

I got punched on my right arm, in between my shoulder and my elbow (yesterday). A (dark) red circle has appeared in that area, and when I tense my biceps, the muscles look quite bigger than my left hands biceps. Will I need to see a doctor, (as I do not want my parents to worry) or will it heal by itself?
