I am just seeking information on autism spectrum disorder. My granddaughter was diagnosed as coming under the spectrum, however, she is very high functioning and is currently in the gifted class at her school.She does, however, have problems making eye contact, makes weird noises, and loud sudden noises bothers her

It is a part of autism spectrum disorder. Abnormal hand and head movements also be seen in many kids. Consult a pediatric neurologist and get evaluated.
