Does An Insect Bite Cause Headache And Stiffness In The Neck?
I was bitten by a dog tick, large and grey. Fully engorged when I took it off. 11 days later in the morning I had a stiff neck and slightly sore other joints. Which got worse during the day( but I do stand for a 11 hour shift) the following morning the stiffness seemed less but had a dull headache near the neck. then increased as the day wen on by 5:30pm I had the chills. For approx 1 1/2 hours. Today woke up the same, stiff neck, headache. By1:30pm I had the sweats for about 1 1/2 hours then hour or so later I got the chills. Is this tick related or did I just get the flu? Thanks.
