Does An Iron Shot Help In The Treatment Of Anal Fissure?

Can iron defiency cause the anal fissure treatment as a negative effect? My Ferritin level was 3.0 and Hemoglabin level as 10.0 but non of the doctors could treat my anal fissure even if i have use dgliserin treatment. After i got a treatment for iron by injection , my anal fissure has gone in 3 days. is it a coincidence?

Hi. Its just a coincidence. no relation between fissure and iron therapy. Kindly check for any bleeding and follow up regularly with complete blood counts. If symptomatic and hb falling down each time kindly meet the surgeon and get your fissure removed. Thank u
