Does An Red, Itchy Bump On The Wrist Suggest Rash?

I woke this morning to discover two fairly close together, red, itchy bumps on the outer aspect of my wrist. Upon inspection, I discovered another red bump on my upper arm that was not itchy. Approximately an hour later I felt an itch on my other wrist and when I looked at it, discovered several (at least 5-7) additional bumps that are closely clustered together and one halfway up the same arm. These also itch. I then discovered an additional bite on the elbow of the first arm listed. I have not seen anything biting me nor have I noticed any bugs present in the house. The bumps do not have pus or drainage, but they are red and irritated. Very small. No change in color from center of bump to edges. Perfectly round. No skin discolorations noted to surrounding area. Could this be some sort of rash or is there a particular pest that you suspect may have feasted on me during my sleep?

Hello,

All you described above mostly points towards a incidental insect bite due to which you are having an allergic reaction, until you are sure you haven't used anything new last night which may have caused this allergic reaction. Any new items like bedsheet any kind of fabric soap. A Cetirizine tablet should be helpful. Please meet a dermatologist if problem persists.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
