Does Antibiotics Affect Effectiveness Of Birth Control Patch?

Hi Doctor. My GP perscribed me with antibiotics (flucloxacillin) and i am currently on my last evra patch of the month. I have been told that the antibiotics will not affect the patch and I will still be protected aganist pregnacy. But I want to know would I experience side effects for taking the antibiotics and keeping the patch on other than the ones stated on the leaflet? As i do not want them to both interfere with each other. Thank you
