Does Anxiety Cause Chest Aches And Mood Disorders?

Hello, I'm an nineteen year old female and I've been having a problem, if it can be called that. Sometimes I suddenly feel upset/sad and I get this ache in my chest. I heard that crying helps but even when I do, the feeling and ache persists for a few days following and sometimes it just goes away. Is this anxiety or something else?

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

It look like a anxiety episode, but before label in anxiety attack, you should consult a physician to rule out any underline physical disorder. If all tests come normal, then it is towards anxiety disorder. You can try some benzodiazepine on sos basis or some relaxation exercise that would keep you calm and relax. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
