Does Anxiety Cause Diarrhea And Vomiting?

My 25 year old daughter moved out for the first time in November, and simultaneously was in a brief relationship in which she was sexually assaulted. She is unsure of what she was physically exposed to, but for four months now she has had diarrhea and vomiting on a daily basis. Can this really be only from anxiety?
