Does Applying Aloe On Burn Cause Pain And Color Change?

Hi, my brother got his leg caught on fire about 5 days ago i have been using aloe on it washing it with antibacterial soap and had seemed to be doing fine but today he says its been hurting more then usual and is turning green in color. Im not sure if its the aloe or what? He has a doc apt tomorrow but hes worried about it now.
