Does Arthritis Cause Shooting Pain In Thumb Joint With Raised Blood Veins?

Female, 57, right wrist, directly under thumb joint, raised blood vein/vessels, about the size of a nickel or dime. Shooting pains. This wrist was broken when I was 18, and I was always told that I would eventually have arthritis set in. It's never been much of a bother, off and on through many years. This is more intense and uncomfortable. Is it Arthritis? I am generally in very good to excellent health. Been bothering me since 1:00 today. Thank you
