Does Bacteria From Urinary Infection Person Cause Tonsillitis?

Hello.
I'm 21 years old, female, I'm worried about the fact that I might have tonsillitis and I don't know if it's bacteria or a virus, I do have a cold right now, I am sneezing but my throat isn't sore, i just feel that my tonsils are a bit swollen when i lower my head and I'm wondering if it could be E coli because I'm living in the house with an older person who has an urinary infection with E coli and doesn't really keep the hygiene as he is an older person. Could it be a coincidence that I have this cold and could I have contacted the bacteria? The swollen feeling started 3-4 days after the cold symptoms started. And I'm also worried that I can't take ibuprofen or aspirin as I'm allergic to them.

I really understand your worry but let me tell you fact that you became too much conscious and apprehensive, this not possible, what ideas coming in your mind is just scary things and not true, you must be having some allergic condition and not the bacterial or viral infection, stop thinking for this otherwise this will create more problems, in short your all thoughts are totally wrong, do not worry nothing wrong will happen to you even if you are going to stay with old person, have good day.
