Hi,
Thanks for the query.
It is very difficult [almost impossible] for signs of
pregnancy to occur so early within 6 days after conceiving. So the reflux is not due to pregnancy. It does not mean that you may not be pregnant, but the reflux is not due to pregnancy.
You have had this issue before in earlier pregnancies and also in the intervening period. Please check to see if you have not been able to sleep or eat properly. Lack of sleep, hot and spicy diet,
indigestion can all cause reflux. Another cause is
GERD [gastro esophageal reflux disease] where the lower part of the food pipe is relaxed causing acid to come into the mouth. Infection by H pylori bacteria also causes similar symptoms.
For the time being I suggest you take a simple
antacid like milk of
magnesium, proper sleep and very simple diet of clear soup and probiotics to aid in digestion. Eat food in small quantities to decrease reflux. Do not eat fried food or cheese or meat for a few days.
For the long term, it is better to see a gastroenterologist and test for reflux as well as
H pylori infection with antibiotics and antacids.
Hope I was able to help you. Thanks for using Health Care Magic.
I would be happy to answer any further queries.
Have a nice day.
