Does Barking Of Dog Cause Any Affect On The Infant?

Hi. Our son will soon be born and have a bit of a concern. I looked all over the internet but could not find any answer to my concern, hence my query. We have a dog at home which lives inside at home with us. The dog bags quite constantly and heavily. I know for sure that newborns eardrums are quite sensitive. Would this heavy barking constitute any danger for our son...Would there be any short or long term repercussions. from past experiences I am aware too with each bark, newborns get easily started. There again, would there be any repercussions if the baby be exposed to all this ?...your opinion would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance.
