Does Bathing With Epsom Salt Help In Managing Rashes In The Pubic Area?

ok, I ve broken out in a rash in my crotch area. I ve been using Fougera Hydrocortisone Cream, 2.5%. My rash seems to be getting better but still not well yet. I ve been taking it for about a week now and was wondering if a warm bath in Epsom Salt would help or make it worse???

Hi,

The bathing in water containing Epsom salt is not advisable as it may worsen the condition. You may take bath in Dettol mixed water. If the rash is ring worm infection Take anti-fungal tablets and apply anti-fungal cream after consulting the dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dermatologist Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your query and these white patches are not related to injection.

These could be either related to vitiligo or a fungal infection.

I would recommend you to consult a doctor and get them examined.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
