Does Benign Essential Tremors And Restless Leg Syndrome Have A Common Cause?

Hi,
I was diagnosed with Benign Essential Tremors in my hands over 10 years ago. I'm now 40 and 30 weeks pregnant with twins. In recent weeks, my husband noticed that my head is now shaking, too. I wasn't aware of it at first, but now I catch my head bobbing in a 'yes-yes' or 'no-no' pattern. I read that this can be another manifestation of BET.

Does BET typically worsen during pregnancy? Is there anything I can do to control it without pharmaceuticals?

I have also developed Restless Legs Syndrome, which supposedly goes away after pregnancy. Could the BET and RLS have a common cause and/or treatment?

Thanks,
-Stephanie
