Does Bleach Odor Adversely Affect An Infant S Breathing?

I cleaned my kitchen with bleach and I know now I used too much, it was diluted with water. My one year old was in the living room, she doesn t show any signs of too much exposer, I did open a window to air out the kitchen an hour or so later. I m freaking out cuz I feel I exposed her too much to it.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry as she is not having any symptoms.
Yes, you are right about bleach fume exposure in children. But symptoms are seen with prolonged and high quantity exposure.
Household exposures are usually mild in nature.
And you have done right thing by opening windows.
This allows fresh air in.
So don't worry at all. She is safe.
For here safety if she develops cough, breathlessness, chest pain then consult pediatrician otherwise no need to worry.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
