Does Bloated Feeling In Lung Muscles Causing Breathing Difficulty Suggest Asthma?

Whenever I lay down or I drink water or I jog, I feel as if my lungs muslces bloat up and I can t breathe. I use Aesthelin Inhaler multiple times a day to deal with the problem. Is it asthma or something else? I had some protein shake (bad one) which was very sticky (in 2012) and since then I am having this problem in breathing. Is it possible that it is stuck in my food pipe or lungs or somewhere in my chest that doesn t allow me to breathe properly. Also, I feel something really stuck in the chest when I go out of breathe with the sound of wheezing

Hi dear!

Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon.
Yes in my expert opinion its surely the Asthma. Foreign body sensation in chest while you ere short of breath, Wheez on breathing, difficulty in breathing. All of the symptoms suggest that you are asthmatic and need proper physical examination, investigations and treatment. The problems which you are feeling are due to the narrowing of the air pipe due to asthma. They dramtically get narrow with any causative agent like exercise, some foods, dust, pollens etc etc. And they come back dramatically to their normal width to allow proper and normal breathing when used some Dilator Medication/Inhaler.
I wanna assure you it has nothing to do with protein drink and thats not your issue. Forget about that please and consult a Pulmonologist in your area. He will prescibe some medications and you will be alright for life long as people live hapoily with diabetes on medications.

May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback to help us assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful' & give a five Stars too. Write a review about your experience with me.
