We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, the time frame can't be given as in some prothrombotic conditions risk of clotting may persist lifelong while in other temporary factors leading to clotting may resolve in few weeks so a detailed workup after consulting a medical specialist would have been better.
The symptoms you are experiencing can be due to clotting issues especially peripheral artery disease and work up with D dimers and fibrinogen may have helped to rule out any recent clotting event.
If needed Doppler ultrasound of lower limbs blood vessels may also be needed. Antiplatelets therapy may be needed lifelong.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
