Does Blood Come Out From Gum In Sinus Infection?

I was recently diagnosed with a sinus infection and given antibiotics on monday. it is thursday and i am experiencing extreme sinus pain going from under my eyes all the way to my ears and down my jaw. I just tasted blood in my mouth as well. It seems to be coming from my gums. Is this normal? Is my sinus infection going away or getting worse?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Bleeding from gums is not normal.
If there is sinus pain then it is not getting cleared.
You should get it examined for sinus infection .In addition to the antibiotics you also need to take antihistaminics like loratidine, ebastine, ; decongestants like phenylephrine; nasal decongestant drops like xylometazoline ; normal saline nasal sprays.
Gum bleeding should not have occurred with sinus infection.
In doubt do reply.
