Do blueberries aggravate acid reflux? I was told that I may have acid reflux by an ENT specialist a few months ago and have been taking a generic prescription of Zantac. The only symptoms I am having is an uncomfortable feeling in the front of my throat. I was also told my tonsils were enlarged and lymph nodes swollen in my throat as a result of the acid reflux. I have altered my diet months ago of food with acid but I m still experiencing the same feeling especially after eating blueberries. Throat feels swollen and uncomfortable to turn my neck.
HI. This can be more due to tonsillitis and pharyngitis itself, as this is increased by Blueberries. If you have swollen tonsils with lymph nodes, you have to go for a course of antibiotics and analgesics. Add domperidone with zantac for acid reflux.
