Does Breakthrough Bleeding Continue Till Next Sugar Pills Dose?
So I vomited up my pill (I'm on yasmine) last saturday, and didnt think anything of it, took my sunday pill as normal (only had 6 yellow pills left until sugar pills), kept taking my pills as normal and then started bleeding on wednesday. Looked in my yasmine book and read that because I had less than 7 active pills left I should skip the white sugar pills and continue the yellow active pills, which I have done, but im still bleeding... Will this breakthrough bleeding continue until my next sugar pills, so for another month??

Ideally the Yasmine pills are to be taken continuously for 21 days, then bleeding occurs during intake of sugar pills. Bleeding between periods generally occurs if the pills are not taken at the same time each day or when the pills are missed or vomited. Since you are having bleeding between periods, after you have finished taking the yellow pills continue with the sugar pills. The bleeding should stop. If not you should get clinically examined by a gynecologist.
