Does Bronchitis Cause Tightness In Throat, Difficulty In Breathing And Choking?

I have been diagnosed with bronchitis and it seems I m at the tail end. However, after a coughing spell it feel like my throat is closed off and I can t breathe air in and eyes really start to water. It feels like I m being choked. It s quite scary because I really have to try to force air in. Should I see a ENT or do you think my general practitioner would be able to figure this out. What are your thoughts on the symptoms and if a specialist is warranted?
