Does Bruised Shin After Hit From Ball Mean Broken Bone?

Hi, I am 13, I am 125 pounds, and I am 5''3 in a half. I have never broke any bone in my body before, but I have had a lot of bruises and scratchs. but I was playing softball with a friend and she pitched to me and it hit me in the shin. Well it has been bruised for 2 or 3 weeks and it is really sore and ever since it happen it is not getting any better. Did I brake my bone or what do you think happen?
