Does Bursting Of Vein On Surface Of Foot Requires Serious Attention?

This morning I dropped a plate that smashed near my foot. It burst a vein near the surface, which bled quite fast! I put a plaster on it & wrapped my foot in celoptape (not joking - I had no badages). I've ignored it all day but tried to take the celotape off now & it hasn't healed. Should I be worried?

Good that you used something to obliterate the vein to stop bleeding. And by the way injuries do not heal that fast.
You did not mention whether its bleeding still, in which case you should meet a doctor immediately who may ligate the vein if its a large vessel or might just apply commpression bandage.
Your doctor would also get to examine for any other injuries you might have sustained.
Hope the reply helped to alleviate your worry and if you need to know anything more do not hesitate. I would be pleased to help.
