Does Caffeine Interact With Zyrtec?

I am a 57 year old female. I feel ok but lately I ve been experiencing heart fluttering or galloping. I m on bio-identical hormones, Zyrtec, and natural supplements. I recently had a lipid panel done and results were normal. I ve had about 2 cups of coffee earlier today. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
Coffee or the active ingredient caffeine do not have any major interactions with the above mentioned drugs. The description of heart fluttering or galloping is not complete.
I would recommend you to cut down your coffee intake as caffeine can at times contributes to increase in heart beat. Also would recommend a complete cardiological assessment to rule out any cardiac issues.
I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day ahead.
