Does Chest Pain With Occasional Cough Need Medical Attention?

I had bronchitis about a month ago, I feel fine except my chest hurts off an on. Everyone once in a while I have to cough to catch my breath. Today my chest is really hurting. Do I need to go back to the dr. I m not running a fever or anything. My cough is like as if I smoked. But I have never smoked. The dr. gave me a zpack and steriods.

Hello,

You may be suffering from acute bronchitis or pneumonitis. Avoid cool'drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet Amoxiclav twice a day for five days. continue z pack. Use syrp Ascorbyl two teaspoon twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he takes chest x-ray then will examine and treat you accordingly.
